Steve Evans: Stevenage boss gets 'extended' two-match touchline ban

Stevenage boss Steve Evans has been given a two-match "extended touchline ban" after "failing to comply with the terms" of a previous touchline ban.
The 61-year-old Scot, who was sat in the stand, admitted breaching the terms of his touchline ban during his side's 3-1 defeat at his old club Peterborough United on 13 March.
The independent regulatory commission hearing also fined him £1,250.
The original ban was as a result of yellow cards received by Evans.
Evans must still serve the original Football Association ban, as per their compliance terms. He will serve the extended ban first and then the original ban will follow.
Evans should now spend both bank holiday weekend fixtures sat in the stand, starting with the Good Friday League One game with fellow promotion hopefuls Bolton Wanderers, followed by the Easter Monday trip to Charlton Athletic.
Stevenage go into the Easter games in seventh, just a point behind sixth-placed Oxford United.
Yellow and red cards for managers were introduced in English football for the 2018-19 season.
